The goal of your Socius Business Advisor Collaborative Mentor is to share wisdom gained from experience and previous learning. Mentoring is distinguished from simply advising, counseling, coaching or training in that it deals with management and business processes. It involves vision, mission, listening and debate. Excellent mentoring requires good listening, probing questions, discussions, honesty and lets not forget debate; we will get back to it later.
For Socius Business Advisors to effectively aid owners and presidents of companies there must be an open collaboration. As an owner or president of a company you are not an apprentice. There is much that you know, especially about your business, but there are things you would like to know.
